Q: Do I have to pay for a Gumbo?
A. If you pay full-time fees in both the fall and spring semesters, you have paid the yearbook fee and may pick up your book without charge. You will need to bring your student ID. If you were part-time in either the fall or spring semesters, there is a small charge for your book. If you were part-time in both semesters or if you were not a student at all, you will be charged $20 for the book.

Q: Where can I get my Gumbo?
A: The Gumbos will arrive in the fall. Watch The Daily Reveille for advertisements giving the dates, times, and locations. Graduating seniors may register to have their books mailed to them. Click HERE to register your address.

Q: How do I get my photograph in the Gumbo?
A: “Photo ops” are held at various locations around campus throughout the school year. You can bring your friends and be photographed together, or you may be photographed individually.

Q: How can my organization get a page in the Gumbo?
A: Organizations can buy space in the Gumbo. Information and forms are sent each fall to every registered student organization on campus, and are also available in the basement of Hodges Hall. For more information, call the Advertising office, 225-578-6090.

Q: I would like the Gumbo to cover my event. How do I let the Gumbo know about it?
A: You may e-mail the information to editor@lsugumbo.com, fax it to (225) 578-1698, mail it to: Gumbo, Office of Student Media, LSU, Baton Rouge, LA 70803, or call the office at (225) 578-2670.

Q: Can I obtain a back copy of the Gumbo?
A: We have very limited supplies of previous books. If available, books from 2000 to the present may be obtained without charge; books from the 1990s cost $25; books from the 1980s, $30; books from the 1970s, $35; and so on. Old Gumbos are also available at the Friends of the LSU Library’s fall book sale.

Q: How can I advertise in the Gumbo?
A: Contact the Student Media Advertising department, (225) 578-6090, or e-mail advertising@lsureveille.com. You can buy an image ad or congratulate a graduate.
